Aveyron
The Aveyron is one of the largest in France, but also one of the most sparsely populated!
Located south of the Massif Central located in the Midi-Pyrenees, major cities are Rodez, about forty miles from Port Camping Lacombe Decazeville all beside the campsite, Millau, an hour and half car and Villefranche-de-Rouergue is about thirty miles of the campsite.
The Aveyron offers a wide range of habitats, from the countryside to the Mountain (Aubrac, Lévézou ...), or buried villages in the valleys of old industrial cities (Decazeville Cransac, Aubin ..) or already Historical (Conques, Villefranche Rouergue ...).
It's a nice area with a rich historical heritage, including sites near the site of the port of Lacombe, you'll travel through time from prehistory to the present..
It is also a department 'green' that retained its authenticity, where life is good in the sweetness of the South!
From the campsite Le Port de Lacombe, many discovery tours are possible for a longer or shorter by car or on foot or bicycle.
